Been a while, I know…

So I got to be honest, I’ve got techno-phobia.

I have obviously not written any posts since last November and it’s mostly due to personal reasons. Yes, I’m human. How about that?

This morning I had a holistic counseling session with my good buddy Teri (her site is on my blogroll) and the issue I wanted to work on today was fear/rebellion/annoying issues related to answering email and going online for anything.

With out going into too much detail, I will share this: I have fear of looking like an idiot plus a fear of failure/success so I tend to let my online tasks just pile up until they become a tad overwhelming. There are some other issues that I won’t go into that are all sorts of personal and well, if you really want to hear them - send me an email - I’ll get back to you next Christmas.

But seriously, I have to nip this one in the butt. In the past, when I have regularly done email, posts, surfing and researching, I have had a blast. I know that my online presence is a necessary element even though I get advice from “experts” that tells me to just drop the whole idea of having an online presence at all. To me, that’s just avoidance. I feel undeniably drawn to the Internet but I am repelled by it because of a host of personal issues. Call this post “working through it.”

In conclusion, I will answer all my emails; it may just take a while. I am committed to making it a practice, but like all new habits, there are fits and starts.

If you need to get a hold of me and you want to make an appointment, by all means, send me an email if you are ok with me taking a while to get back to you (at least for the next few months.)

However, if you want quicker responses, call me.

Here’s the number: 206-465-6344

Thanks for understanding; I’m getting better all the time.
